Our assembly positions are part of a team that works together to produce our energy efficient window and door products. All of our new employees will be assigned to a team and partner with coworkers who will train and guide them along the way as they learn this new position.
Our production jobs are great for anyone who likes to use their hands to build high quality products. These positions do require employees to be able to stand for up to 10 hours in a work shift as well as bend, reach, twist, and use their hands and fingers in the assembly process.
If you have had success in other production or assembly positions, you may be a good candidate for us. We are interested in working with anyone who has the desire to learn and be a part of our great company.
1st shift teams are scheduled to work 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday, and 6:30 am to 3:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. This is a benefit eligible position and pays $21.00 per hours.
2nd shift teams are scheduled to work 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday thru Thursday and 3:30 pm to 12:00 am on Friday and Saturday. This is a benefit eligible position and pays $22.00 per hour.

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician. This position will require operating a company vehicle and traveling to locations to inspect product issues, complete repairs as needed, and replace product when warranted.
Having a construction/building background and knowledge of window and door operations is a plus. Being able to use a variety of hand and power tools to perform high quality repairs is required. Operating in a safe and professional manner while providing excellent customer service is a must.
This position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. With the travel, staying out overnight up to 4 nights during the week is a requirement. This position has many physical demands such as being able to stand, walk, bend, reach, crawl, climb a ladder, and lift up to 60 pounds.

We are looking to grow our maintenance team and are looking for experienced technicians to help support the operation with maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and property. These positions are part of a team where employees feel they belong and make a difference doing their best work.
A successful candidate will have experience in maintaining and calibrating computer-based manufacturing equipment such as welders, fabricators, and saws. The ability to weld, fabricate, and work with hydraulics are a benefit to us. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly.
Scheduled hours will be –
1st shift - 7 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm Friday
2nd shift - 3:30 pm to 12 am Monday thru Friday
Saturdays - team rotates to support production team needs
Being able to work overtime is a requirement

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our 2nd Shift Production team. This position will encompass establishing priorities, scheduling activities and employees, monitoring progress, resolving issues and ensuring performance and quality of our products.
A successful candidate will have a manufacturing and/or assembly background in a busy environment. Knowledge of CNC, punch press, automated welding, saws, and other assembly equipment are a plus. Having 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience is required.
If you have had success in leading a production team, you may be a good candidate for us. Although management experience is preferred, we are more interested in working with someone who has shown success in an assembly environment with the potential to lead our team to produce a quality product. Gerkin operates in a team environment with constant support through an experienced group of people.
